Designed for comfort and style the ergonomic double-rivet handle features a sleek stainless-steel backing that looks as good as it feels. This 16-piece “East Meets West” block set is stocked with both Asian and Western style knives. The set features both an Asian-style kudamono paring knife with a lightweight body that is ideal for intricate vegetable work and a Western-style paring knife for other small-scale tasks in the kitchen. The Asian-style hollow edge santoku features a blade that has small indentations called grantons which prevent food from sticking while cutting and is designed to facilitate the Asian push-cut.
